Graceful pastel blooms on elegant, long stems.
While late-flowering can seem like a negative feature to some, long-stemmed French tulips are worth the wait. Their later bloom time lengthens the tulip season when planted alongside earlier-flowering varieties. As your early tulips and daffodils fade, these beauties steal the show with their long stems and glowing blooms. We chose these varieties for their similar bloom times, as they create harmonious displays in cutting gardens and bouquets. This set includes: Dordogne, Maureen, and Menton. All varieties have very long stems for cutting.

About French or Single Late tulips:
  • Known for their long, elegant stems
  • Pair well with Parrot and Double Late tulips as they have a similar bloom period (late Spring)
  • Bloom mid-May in our outdoor trials
  • Do not naturalize/perennialize readily (see growing information for how to encourage perennial plantings)
  • Grow best in Zones 3–7
  • 12 cm+ bulb size
  • 1 unit = 1 bulb
NOTE: Bulbs do not come pre-chilled; if growing in hardiness Zones 8–10, see growing information for pre-chilling instructions.
