Good uniformity.
1 1/2–3" flower clusters are produced on strong stems in the field and greenhouse. Seeker Mix is more uniform and has a better color range (blue, pastel blue, purple, white, and shades of yellow and rose) than Pacific Mix, which it replaced. Also known as annual statice and wavyleaf sea lavender. Ht. 24–30". Avg. 11,750 seeds/oz. Packet: 100 seeds.
DAYS TO GERMINATION:5-14 days at 70°F (21°C).

SOWING:Transplant (recommended): Sow 5-6 weeks before last frost, barely covering the seed as light is required for germination. Provide temperatures of 60°F (16°C) for 1-2 weeks after the seedlings emerge to encourage rooting. Transplant to cell packs or larger containers when true leaves appear. Harden-off and plant outside after the last frost. Direct seeding is not recommended.

LIGHT PREFERENCE:Sun.

SOIL REQUIREMENTS:Rich, well-drained soil.

PLANT SPACING:12".

HARVEST:Fresh or dried: When the individual flowers are mostly open and showing color. Hang to dry.
